Hot Wings

I started by asking you for the recipe. Then you asked me to write a recipe list for the wings. We then had to wait like a week before we were actually able to make them since all the stuff going on in school. I had to get my stuff ready and prepped to make the wings and that took like two minutes since there is like four things on my wings. I then had to ask Allie where the sauce pans where because I was clueless.

I started by making the sauce for my wings. WOW was that stuff hot. I was pretty sure I burned all of my nose hairs off after sniffing it. I added hot sauce, cayenne pepper and paprika to make the sauce and it was a spicy mix. I then let the sauce sit in the fridge till I was ready to put it on the wings.

I then had to cut up the meat. It was frozen so I had to thaw it out before I could use it. Once thawed I cut it into pieces that I could eat in one bite. I made batter to dip my chicken in and then proceeded to role my chicken in the batter before putting it in the oil to fry. I waited till the chicken turned darker brown before removing. I then mixed them with the sauce to come out with my final outcome, the hot wings.

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
10 chicken wings

Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 dash ground black pepper
1 dash garlic powder

In a small bowl mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. place chicken wings in a large nonporous glass dish or bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over them until they are evenly coated. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes.

heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F. the oil should be just enough to cover wings entirely, an inch or so deep. Combine butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir together and heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat and reserve for serving.

Fry coated wings in hot oil for 10 to 15 minutes, or until parts of wings begin to turn brown. Remove from heat, place wings in serving bowl, add hot sauce mixture and stir together.

THICCCCCCCC BURGER

We made cheeseburgers Friday. When preparing the cheeseburgers you ran out of propane making us wait like 30 minutes and I was just watching my burger be sad. I ate mine and keatons cheeseburgers. My cheeseburger was like a little circle, I had left my middle to thick so I didn't have the most delicious looking burger.

My Cheeseburger looked funny but tasted great. Keaton wasn't hungry so he gave me his burger and it tasted so good. When we made the burgers I thought I made mine super flat but I was far from correct. In total the burgers looked good and tasted pretty good.

First we had to roll out the burgers. Once rolled out then we made the patties rounded and waited for you to get back. Then we proceeded to go outside and put the burgers on the grill and had to wait till they were ready to flip. We flipped them once and then waited till brown, then I put the cheese on the burger and waited for it to melt.

Apple Pie

We made apple pie on Monday and Tuesday. I missed Tuesday so I didn't get to help Teran add the apples to the pie. I did help skin the apple and cut it into piece then proceeded to put them in lemon water to keep the fresh. It took me and Teran and unbelievable amount of time to cut the apples. We had to unroll the crust and put it in the pan.

Had to make the paste that goes on top of the pie and I guess Teran had burned it well I was gone. So on Wednesday Teran and I had to remake the paste and it took about 10 minutes. Once done we put it on top of the pie and spread it on top of the pie. We put the pie in the oven and waited about 15 minutes then lowered the heat to 350 degrees.

First we unrolled the crust, then shape it in the pan. We then want to cut the apples and spread them across pie. Make the sauce by adding brown sugar, Water, white sugar, and butter. Then put the crust on top of the pie and pour the sauce over the pie crust. Bake the pie until ready and let cool.

Cheesecake

I started off by making the crust out of gram cracker and powdered sugar. It took me pretty long because I didn't know how to crunch it up but I found out after a while. The Cheesecake was actually fairly easy to make. It took a while to make, I think it was like 3 hours. Adding the strawberry was by far my favorite part as I got to smell it and it smelt great. Adding the two mixtures together made it look really cool.

I added the strawberries and then added the next layer. Once I was done with that layer I added the strawberries and swirled them and it made it look awesome. Once it was done, you put it in the fridge and I took it out and it looked awesome. I was really proud of the cake and couldn't believe I actually made it.

I was terrified of doing the frosting. Everyone watched me do the frosting and I was failing super hard. As I was frosting it got better the more I did it and it did't turn out to bad. I cut it and plated it and made it look pretty by adding strawberry. It tasted really good actually and I most off it.

WHO STOLE A MY SPAGHETTI

Keaton and I made spaghetti. The spaghetti called for one whole onion and we ended up only putting half of the onion in the spaghetti. When we finished then spaghetti it looked pretty good but MAN it had lot of onions in it. I also died, it was so freaking hot. It turned out looking really good though.

While making the recipe we came across some issues. First, we didn't have enough ground beef because I forgot to write it down. We had to split hamburger with Teran and so we had way to much sauce. It was torwards the end of the class when we decided to make the noodles and so we ran out of time so I stayed after class to finish the noodles.

When making spaghetti we tried to be top chefs. We even tried to cook the meat to perfection and make the sauce perfect, but again, we put way to much onion in it. We plated it up and Keaton made it look fancy and look great but the meat was not really forming right. We had to wait till Tuesday before we were able to eat the spagetti.

Blowing things (eggs)

We started off by getting eggs. When I went to get an egg mine was slightly cracked and did not realize right away. I started to blow my egg and I started getting a massive headache. The hole I made in my egg wasn't quite big enough it was hard to blow through. I blow up one of my eggs by blowing too hard and I almost passed out.

We then had to scramble the eggs so we could make the omelets. The omelet was actually easier to make then first thought. I just poured the ham in the pan to start off and let it cook. Once the ham was cooked then we just added the egg and waited till it was cooked fully on one side.

You then pure pressured me into flipping it in the pan. That turned out to be awesome and somehow I actually got it to work. I was so hype that actually worked and my omelet actually turned out without falling apart and I was very surprised with myself.

Smoothies and grilled cheese

Grilled Cheese
Last week we made grilled cheese. I made the best grilled cheese in the class I think personally. I put two pieces of cheese on mine and it was super cheesy. The cheese was very overwhelming I had a hard time eating it. I can't eat the crust because its too hard and I hate crunchy things.

When I first started I thought I was going to burn the grilled cheese. I've never made a grilled cheese that turned out good so I was surprised when I finished it and it wasn't burned. I ate it in about three bites and about choked to death with every bite.

Smoothies

So we made smoothies and mine was more of a slushy. I put three cups of ice when it called for 1 so it was a little too chunky. Besides it being super chunchy it had really good taste and I really enjoyed it. I didn't know how to work the blender at first and so it was really hard to work with but I eventually got it to work. I have no idea how much strawberry I put in because I was just guessing but it seemed to be the right amount because it tasted pretty good.

I didn't chop up the banana and so it was super thick. I don't know how I made it that good but I guess it worked. I worked alone to make my smoothy and I did pretty well for myself. I make the best smoothies so I'm basically a chef .
