Julie and Julia

            We watched about 40 minutes of the movie. So far it's been more kissing then cooking or baking. Julia is a chef I guess that cant cut onion. It was Julie's birthday and she made the food that I guess everyone liked. The movie is very boring and it sucks.

           Julie had someone important coming over. She was making food and fell asleep so it burned. She remade the food the next day and made sure not to burn it. The famous person coming over decided not to as it was raining too much and the person was older. She had a lot of mental breakdowns well making food. Julia had to move out of Paris to a different part of France, she also is making a book that a publisher already loves.

          Everything I know about Julia Child is that she was an American chef and became a French chef. She moved to France with her husband and took cooking lessons to become a French chef. She made many books and was a very successful chef. She was born August 15, 1912 and died August 13, 2004. She is known for bringing French Cuisine to American chefs.

Apple turnovers

We made apple turnovers today. They tasted great actually, they had some parts where they were hard but still amazing. I ate three of them and left Teran with one because I'm fat and they were good. They tasted liked the school's apple turnovers but they were bigger. It took us like 30 minutes to prepare and another 25 to bake. They weren't overcooked or undercooked they were basically perfect.

 Teran and I made some sweet apple turnovers. I'm really proud of us as they turned out better than expected. We weren't there to eat them as soon as they came out of the over so we had to come in during win time and eat them.  I microwaved them for 30 seconds and they were warm and moist and great. They weren't very hard to make as it didn't have that many things to add.

  • medium apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2tablespoons butter
  • 1/2cup packed brown sugar
  • 1teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water)

We made cookies and they actually turned out good. They actually didn't burn and I was proud of Teran and me .  We ate all the cookies as soon as they came out of the oven and I enjoyed them. The first batch we made turned out the best as they weren't hard. The cookies looked really good and when we put it on the plate we looked like next level chefs.

I made a mistake by deciding to put the cookies in the oven and stilling them in the oven and it sucked. They are still currently in the bottom of the oven and I feel about it. I still need to clean them out the oven. Mr. Conway just roasted you about cookies and it was great but back to the cookies. It took us so long to make the cookies.

We took forever to make the cookies as we weren't able to bake them as we didn't have time and so we had to wait till Tuesday to make them. They were worth the wait as they were amazing. The cookies had good taste and were firm. They were cookies they looked like cookies and they tasted like cookies so they were close enough.

Fry Lab

We had to make fried donuts and they were great. They were delicious they were really big and powdery and everyone liked them. They were really dark colored and looked disgusting but they were the exact opposite. We had them last Monday and I wish we made them everyday they taste sooooo good. I got to eat like 15 of them and they lasted for like 5 seconds because I was eating them instantly.  I have never had donuts so good before and actually made them.

We also made chicken but I wasn't here to have any. They said it tasted great, I was here for prep work and we cut the chicken into little pieces and but them in a bag till the next day. I missed the day and I wish I was because everyone told me about how great the chicken was. We got some really really good donuts tho. We also got to try others food and it tasted pretty good.

Veggie lab

We made blueberry muffins and they turned out great. We made these giant muffins but they were still good. THEY LOOK TERRRRRRRIBLE BUT TASTED REALLY REALLY GOOD. We made alot of little ones too and they were even better. We made the beset muffins ever and no one can say different.

We pamed the pan alot and so nothing would stick but the muffins kinda tasted like pam. They muffins should have had more blueberries because they were kinda plain. Since I was gone the other day I missed out on some of the muffins and so when I got them they were dry.Image result for blueberry muffins

             We had to make a hole on top and bottom and blow the eggs out of them. I almost passed out from blowing so hard and it hurt. I ate 6 eggs and they were so good chance gave me his eggs. I have never ate so many eggs in my life. I also got apple sider and it was great but I ate to much.

            I ate literally six eggs and felt like exploding. I thought it was pretty fun to make the eggs and color them but I wasn't here for the coloring. They looked pretty cool and somehow weren't smashed.

We made chocolate chip cookies and they actually were pretty good. We got most of the cookies done in the first batch but had 7 that we had afterwards . They tasted really good and there was the perfect amount of chocolate chips. I never made cookies that actually tasted good.

I got 8 cookies and I ate all of them during the class period after this. We made some REALLY GOOD COOKIES. We got to wear the chef coats to and they were awesome. Everyones cookies looked really good.
